Hey y’all! How are y’all doing?
I’ve got some good news. Sort of. *DRUM ROLLS* I have a job somebody shout Hallelujah!!!! One slight problem though; I don’t get to start till like June/July. I was hoping to start as soon as possible but I’m not complaining or anything. I’m super grateful. However, I’m not putting my eggs in one basket. I already applied to another hospital in Lagos months ago and they finally scheduled the exam/interview which I did on Saturday. I know right? Why would they do that to us. Saturday! So hopefully that goes well because if it does, I might get to start immediately.
A lot of people have advised me to go out of Lagos and apply which I did but nothing forthcoming so far. I don’t see the point travelling (flight/road)to far places in Nigeria for a job when I know damn well, knowing at least one person there is vital. I love my life too much to start entering bus anywhere outside Lagos. Speaking of life. God saved my life last week Friday, I went to deliver food for my mom (She’s a badass cook!). I will talk about that in another post so stay tuned.
On the way back, the front tyre tore while getting off the bridge. Oh boy! It was dramatic. We thank God sha. The driver was able to stay calm and move us to the side of the road. He changed the tyre and we were on our way. Now minutes before this, he said he noticed the tyre on the other side is flat so we stopped and pumped the two on the other side. Little did we know!
I know God kept me. God’s mercy kept me. I’m not better than anyone that died that day but I believe God has a plan for my life and honestly I fully trust him with my life. Sometimes things happen and you just look up and say ‘Thank you God, I know that was you!’
Some things we are looking forward to;
We plan to have some photo shoots soon. Titi and I. Hopefully, we get time and make this happen. So stay tuned for that.
To start a series on my house job experience when I start working. That should be fun!!
